Painted during a residency in mid-spring 2026, in the full bloom and canopy of Salt Spring Island. The painting is treated with an under layer of natural stains and dyes, painted with oil and pigments, finished with cold wax.

Sussurro loosely and poetically translates to the sound of the wind in the trees. It is the continuous, barely perceptible soundscape, the otherwise invisible harmonics of a given place - heard, sensed, perceived.
