Painted during a residency in mid-spring 2026, in the full bloom and canopy of Salt Spring Island. The painting is treated with an under layer of natural earth pigment stains, painted with oil and pigments.

Sussurro, the name of this series, is a word that loosely and poetically translates to the sound of the wind in the trees. The otherwise invisible harmonics of a given place - heard, sensed, perceived.

This unframed painting (Sussurro II) is shipped rolled, including 3/4" stretcher bars.
