Late September. Sun-baked hydrangeas. Rain returns. The soft musk of the other side of summer floats through the remaining Pacific Lilacs, coming to rest.

This piece is layered with floral dye, crushed earth, cochineal and a touch of modern colour for synthesis. Wax-sealed and buffed for a subtle satin and sense of patina.
